Store Assistant | Broome WA

Full time (35 hours a week) or Casual Part Time (up to 25 hours a week)

About Unfurl

Unfurl is a women’s boutique based in tropical Broome. Every style is designed by our founder Moni, who makes the patterns and sews the first sample of each piece before it goes into production in Bali. We use natural fibres and exclusive prints you won’t find anywhere else.

We’re looking for someone who shares our love of fashion and people to grow with us.

The Role

As our Store Assistant, you’ll create a warm and welcoming experience for every customer who walks into our Broome boutique. You’ll help women find pieces they love, share the story behind our designs and keep the store looking beautiful. This is a chance to be part of a growing brand from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store, keeping it clean, tidy and well organised
  • Help customers find the right pieces to suit their needs and their perfect fit
  • Share product knowledge on our designs, prints and how each piece is made
  • Manage stock levels, including restocking the floor, inventory counts and receiving deliveries
  • Merchandise racks, displays and windows in line with brand guidelines
  • Work towards store sales targets by styling full outfits and suggesting pieces that work together
  • Process sales, returns and exchanges accurately through our POS system
  • Assist with promotions, sales events and in store marketing
  • Create Instagram content including reels, try ons and new arrivals
  • Handle customer enquiries and concerns with care and a solutions focused approach
  • Stay up to date with new arrivals so you can offer relevant recommendations

About You

  • Previous retail experience, ideally with a fashion or lifestyle brand
  • Warm, effervescent and great with people
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident and creative with Instagram, including reels
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English
  • Based in Broome
